
People require both physical and mental stimulation to thrive. In my country, we seem to place an inordinate emphasis on the former, while giving short thrift to the latter. Perhaps you find the process of learning to exhausting, or you believe that you don’t have the time to make a focused effort. Maybe you are simply uninspired.
TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is a platform that, at the very least, can address these issues, and at most, may change your life. Quite frankly, it is an amazing collection of presentations covering a wide range of topics. Presenters are from all around the world and are typically operating at the highest levels of their respective fields.
Furthermore, they are expected to relay a significant amount of information in a relatively short period of time in an original and entertaining fashion. The bar is set very high, and, quite frankly, I’ve never experienced anything else quite like these presentations.
