Determine A Restaurant’s Best Items With Oink
iOS: The first project to come out of the inimitable Kevin Rose’s new startup, Milk, Oink aims to take location-based reviews one step further, and instead of allowing you to rate places, enables you to rate items inside of those locations.
Whether you’re interested in finding the best beer at a local pub or the most hellacious ride at a famous amusement park, Oink aims to help you find what you are looking for. The app is based on a community-driven review service where reviewers (called Builders) can rate items offered by restaurants or other attractions.
You can search by category (e.g., Lunch, Burgers) or just go to a local restaurant and see what the top menu selections are. If you like something, rank it within the Oink app. The more people give their feedback, the more useful the service becomes.
Oink is free and is available to download through the iTunes App Store.
