Enable Gmail Scheduling And Re-delivery With Boomerang

In spite of all the incredible tools that Google has released, Gmail remains one of the company’s most popular products, and after almost 7 years, is now the go-to email solution for many of the Web’s users and the digerati alike. While it has been accused of suffering from feature creep (e.g., constant addition of new features like Chat, Video Conferencing, Buzz…), this new add-on from Baydin Software may be worth the added weight.

Boomerang For Gmail is an add-on that enables you to put a delay on when you want your messages sent. Even more compelling, is its ability to re-deliver messages to your inbox at a time of your choosing in a way that is useful to you, e.g., as starred, marked as unread or labeled messages.

Message re-delivery might not sound that interesting, but there are a variety of practical use cases that clearly demonstrate how great this feature can be. For example, let’s say you get an email about an important bill that is due next week. Boomerang For Gmail will detect the date within the message, and give you the option of having this message sent back to your inbox as an unread message at a date and time you specify.

Watch the demo to see how Boomerang For Gmail is implemented and for more clever use cases.

Awesome! I have been waiting for this for a long time. Wouldn’t have none about. Thanks. Good stuff and so useful. I can see a few different work related uses for this.

    • I’m glad you liked it. It’s definitely one of the better Gmail enhancements I have found.
